Thankful Thursday- Tim Martin

We are shaking things up on this Thankful Thursday and sending a THANK YOU to Tim Martin.

Tim came to our community over 12 years ago and served as the Executive Director of the Stephens County Development Authority until his retirement this year.

Tim has a strong background in the Chamber World and saw the value of nurturing a strong relationship between the Chamber and the Development Authority.

If you ever attended a meeting with Tim you know he kept a joke or two up his sleeve. He is also your go-to for words of wisdom, a good read, or a podcast that will keep you motivated on whatever project or circumstance life may have you in.

Tim has worked many thankless hours adjusting his scheduled time away with lovely wife, Esther, to secure deals and recruit business to our community. Tim, we saw the hard work and commitment and we are so grateful for all you did and continue to do for our lovely community.

We wish you all the best in your retirement! Enjoy your time with Esther, Stephen, Kathryn, and those amazing 5 grandchildren! Take time to relax between those long distance runs too!
